CAPITAL Stays on Growth Track - Begins Expansion
Phase
September 7, 2000
SIOUX FALLS – CAPITAL Card
Services, Inc., a Sioux Falls based credit card service
company continues on its growth track and expects to
add 200 new jobs over the next four
years. CAPITAL has begun the second phase of its expansion
project and will renovate an additional 18,000 square
foot of office space. CAPITAL
provides a wide range of “cafeteria-type” credit card services
for banks that outsource everything from credit approval
to account management services.
According to Jeff Aegerter, the company’s President and Chief Executive
Officer, “Our projections were to grow to 300 employees by 2004 and we
are right on track. We have reached capacity in our current facility by adding
100 people since beginning operation in September of last year. It is time
to take the next logical step and invest in another improvement to our facility.”
Miller Sellers Heroux is the architect for the project. “CAPITAL’s
facility is unique from all other card companies in Sioux Falls” explains
President, Robin Miller. “Everything from vaulted ceilings with indirect
lighting to the expanded parking with an employee terrace bring appeal to this
facility and make it more like home to the employees who are fortunate enough
to work here.” CAPITAL expects completion of the facility by December
1, 2000.
