CAPITAL Hires Jay Kurian to Lead Prepaid Business

SIOUX FALLS, SD, August 1, 2011 - CAPITAL Card Services, Inc. (CAPITAL), a leader in portfolio management and card outsourcing solutions, today announced the addition of Jay Kurian as President of their new prepaid subsidiary.

Prior to joining CAPITAL, Jay served as the Managing Director of New Business Development at Alliance Company in Boston.  Earlier, Jay served as First Senior Vice President at Town North Bank and as Founding Director and Chief Risk Officer of Town North Bank Nevada. While there, he established the agent issuing program, TNB Card Services and built a $300 million credit card portfolio.  He was Vice President and director of U.S. card products for Banco Popular where he helped launch Banco Poplar’s US mainland entry and grow the bank from $1.4 billion to $6.0 billion.  He also held management positions at Signet Bank and AT&T.
