First Data Renews CAPITAL Card Services, Inc., Processing Agreement

Electronic commerce and payments leader, First Data Corp. today announced that CAPITAL Card Services, Inc. (CAPITAL), has renewed its agreement with the company for credit card processing services.  First Data will continue to provide comprehensive processing services for over 500,000 credit card accounts.

“We extended our partnership with First Data because of their ability to provide us with quality, flexible services,” said Jeffrey Aegerter, president and CEO for CAPITAL.  “First Data’s strong, strategic presence in the market and deep industry expertise enable us to continue our focus on serving and meeting the dynamic needs of our customers.”

CAPITAL has been a First Data client since 2003.  Financial terms of the renewal were not disclosed.
