Employee Benefits

CAPITAL offers salary commensurate with experience and education. We value the contributions associates make each day and desire to make their work experience rewarding, both personally and professionally.

Flexible Work Schedule

We have a wide variety of convenience schedules available to associates including full-time, part-time, weekend, and split shifts to work around school and family obligations.

Differential Pay

Differential pay is offered as compensation to employees who are fluent in a foreign language that meets a business need (referred to as “Bilingual Differential”), whose permanently assigned schedule is to work at least 50% of the time after 5 p.m. CST and/or weekends (referred to as “Night Differential”) or whose permanently assigned schedule is to work each pay period at least 50% of the time after 10 p.m. CST and/or weekends (referred to as “Overnights”).

Health Care

Most benefits are effective the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service. We offer an open enrollment period once each year, generally in the 4th quarter with all changes effective January 1st of the following year.

Health Insurance

CAPITAL has Health Insurance available to eligible associates; the cost of this insurance will be shared between CAPITAL and the associate.

Dental Insurance

CAPITAL has Dental Insurance available for interested associates. This insurance is designed to help associates contain dental costs.

Flexible Spending Account

CAPITAL provides an optional Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program that allows eligible associates to have pre-tax dollars deducted from their salaries to pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses. The pre-tax contributions made to the FSA can be used to pay for predictable non-reimbursed health care expenses and dependent care expenses during the plan year. Through the FSA program, you can reduce your taxable income without reducing your real income, so that you can keep more of the money you earn.

Life Insurance

CAPITAL provides and pays for a basic group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment plan for eligible associates. Additional supplemental life insurance coverage may also be purchased.

Long Term Disability

CAPITAL has Long Term Disability coverage for associates. The cost of this insurance is paid by CAPITAL. This coverage insures up to 60% of monthly earnings not to exceed $9,000 per month. Associates become eligible for long term disability benefits after completing the elimination period, which is 90 consecutive days of disability.

Employee Assistance Program

To help our associates balance work and life, our Employee Assistance Program provides counseling services on a variety of personal and family issues.

Profit Sharing and 401(K) Savings Plan

We believe that a retirement plan is an important benefit for CAPITAL associates. The Profit Sharing and 401(K) plan allows associates to save for retirement while deferring income taxes on the saved money and earnings until withdrawal. Associates can contribute a portion of their compensation on a tax-deferred basis. To help our associates savings grow even more, CAPITAL may, at its discretion, match a portion of funds contributed by the associate.

Paid Time Off

CAPITAL associates begin accruing vacation and sick time their first day of employment.

Vacation

CAPITAL provides associates with up to two weeks of paid vacation time per year. After five years of service, associates get an additional week of paid vacation per year. Vacation pay for full-time associates is computed on the basis of a standard forty (40) hour work week and on approved work hours for part-time associates. Vacation time is accrued daily and may be used after the completion of 90 days of continuous employment.

Personal Days

CAPITAL provides associates with up to two paid personal days which are allocated to the associate on January 1st.

Sick Leave

To help cover expenses during times of illness, associates will be compensated for absences due to personal illness or illness of dependent family members.

Nationally Observed Holidays

This includes up to 10 core and floating holidays, depending on work schedules.

Bereavement Leave

CAPITAL provides associates paid days to assist them in the event of a family member’s death.

Perfect Attendance

Associates can earn up to four extra hours of vacation each quarter in which they have perfect attendance.

Angel Day

Associates can earn up to two additional days of vacation each year by contributing to the community’s United Way fund drive.

Performance Incentives

Most all positions offer incentives based on increased levels of performance and/or enhanced skill attainment. Incentives are paid as frequently as monthly.

Education Assistance

CAPITAL recognizes that the skills and knowledge of its associates are critical to the success of the organization. Our educational assistance program encourages personal development through formal education so that associates can maintain and improve job-related skills as well as further their career goals.

Career Path

Associates participate in a career development program that recognizes superior skill attainment by allowing participants to "self-promote" by consistently achieving department standards.

Employee Referral Bonus

CAPITAL associates are encouraged to refer family, friends, or acquaintances who are interested in employment opportunities for posted jobs. Qualifying associates will receive a Referral Bonus for each applicant hired.

CAPITAL’s greatest asset is it’s associates. Recognizing their contributions is important to maintaining a positive and healthy corporate culture. Associates are able to receive regular recognition for their achievements in the following ways.

Shining Star Award

Each month, CAPITAL's executive management team publicly recognizes associates that have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their roles. Award winners are nominated by their peers and recognized for their efforts in assisting the company reach its business objectives.

CAPITAL Spirit Award

Associates can recognize their co-workers, supervisors, or manager by presenting them with this award. The CAPITAL Spirit Award is given when associates display values such as encouragement, energy, flexibility, creativity, or other ways in which they make a positive difference to others in the workplace.

Strength of Innovation

Associates are able to recommend suggestions on how to improve service delivery, and participate in the financial improvements made for the company. Top award winners can earn up to $25,000 for a unique idea.

Length of Service

CAPITAL recognizes and rewards associates for their length of service at intervals of one, three, five, and then every five years afterwards. At the five year anniversary, associates are recognized at an award dinner held in their honor with the President and members of the executive management team.

Employee Discount Card Program

CAPITAL provides associates an employee discount card which offers reduced prices on various products and services; from value meal discounts to reduced rates for a variety of services.
